If the service you need is not listed below,
contact us to discuss your project goals -- specialized projects
comprise a significant part of our business.
Although we offer many software services, our two areas of
specialization are Education
and Development and Support.
EDUCATION
E-Learning e-Learning
provides real-time and just-in-time training to your employees
on software applications as well as business processes, through
interactive tutorials, scenario-based simulations and assessments.
The online nature of this method of training provides the option for
your employees to learn at their own pace, at their own desks and on
their own schedule.
Software Training Seminars
Traditional instructor-led training is a better
fit for some people and some software. For two or twenty, our
seminars are fun and creative, but most importantly, they are
productive.
Our flexibility allows us to cater
to your needs -- we don't expect all participants to work at
the same pace or be interested in the same topics. Our instructors are experienced,
knowledgeable, and most importantly, they are patient and have a
genuine interest in making sure their participants learn.
They are accomplished in the proven methods of adult learning
techniques -- they know what works.
Taking time away from work to travel to an
off-site training facility can be
difficult, so we typically present our seminars at your facility.
If you don't have a PC training lab at your location, we can provide
up to ten laptops
and transform a conference room into a comfortable, hands-on
classroom.
Microsoft Office Classes
These hands-on training modules accommodate the beginner through advanced learner. Instruction time for each module is
traditionally 5-6 hours, but if you'd like to keep class lengths to 3-4 hours so they can be taught in a morning or afternoon, we can accelerate the
pace, or you can select specific topics from a module's course content. Available modules include:
- Word Modules 1-4
- Excel Modules 1-4
- PowerPoint Modules 1-4
- Outlook Modules 1-4
- Access Modules 1-4
FLASH Sessions
These quick, one-hour sessions are great for individuals who are interested
in honing their skills on a specific application feature, but
have limited time to spend.
Our FLASH sessions have proven to be very popular
with our clients. Participants observe a detailed instructor-led demonstration
of a specific topic or feature of MS Office, Lotus Notes,
Graphics Editing, Web Searching, etc. Discussion is encouraged,
and attendees receive a 6-12 page step-by-step handout to use
for later reference. In addition to delivering a focused skill
in a short amount of time, this demonstration format also has
the advantage of accommodating a larger than usual audience,
since only one PC is needed (for the instructor). Participation is limited
only by chair space in the room.
When we present these sessions around lunch time, they
are often presented as "Brown Bag Sessions" by the client
company to
their employees. Participants sometimes bring their lunch to eat during the session,
or we can have lunch brought in. Either way, dessert is on us.
We have over 75 FLASH sessions available -- offer your employees
the opportunity to pick and choose which topics are relevant to
them.
FLASH sessions include topics such as:
- PowerPoint Tips & Tricks
- Mastering Excel Pivot Tables
- Importing Text Files in Access
- Working with Advanced Queries in Access
- Creating Custom PowerPoint Templates
- Creating Charts in Excel
- Creating Fill-in Forms in Word
- Creating and Editing Graphics

Private Sessions
Perfect for an executive or employee who cannot attend a class, or when
only one or two people need to learn a particular skill. A
one-on-one session is also a great way for an employee to work
with an instructor to get assistance on a current project, such
as a complex spreadsheet, multi-media presentation file or
database.
Curriculum Development
Our student guides are written for flexibility during class, however, if custom exercises or special instructions
would benefit your group, we are happy to make adjustments.
Minor edits are included as part of our service; more involved
changes may involve a modest fee, depending on the amount of
time required to make them. We work with you to complete the
changes to your satisfaction, within your budget and time frame. Our experienced
technical writers are also proficient at creating curriculum for your proprietary software.
DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPORT
Need help getting started with a complex spreadsheet? Not sure where to start to create a macro? Do your presentations or charts need a more polished appearance? Wondering whether
a database might speed up your processes and increase
efficiency? Need an easy way to track metrics for
quality assurance?
These are all common tasks easily solvable with the right use of the
right software. We can help get you started,
or we can develop the project from start to finish. You decide
as we go. An initial half-hour discussion is free of
charge. If you decide to proceed, billing is hourly.
We normally won't charge you, however, for
troubleshooting via e-mail or phone, unless the issue is
complex or requires research.
Our certified Microsoft and Lotus developers will be glad to assess your
project and recommend which of your applications is the
best fit. Every application has the ability to eliminate duplication, increase productivity and
improve accuracy -- the nature of your project will determine
which one to use.
Phone Support
We offer follow-up e-mail and phone support to assist you with your
software questions. It's simple -- send a detailed e-mail or voice message when you
have a software question,
and we'll either respond right away at no charge if we have the
answer, or let you know how long we expect it to take.
The first 15
minutes are free. If we feel the problem cannot be
resolved within an hour, we will notify you early on.
At that point, you have the option of continuing the call, or pursuing the research on your own based on information we have
provided.
We consistently receive praise on our
excellent follow-through.
